Statewide Day of Prayer for Law Enforcement

As proclaimed by Governor Bobby Jindal, Monday, September 14, 2015, is a statewide day of prayer for law enforcement in the State of Louisiana.

  • Governor Jindal to Host Prayer Rally, Commemorate Statewide Day of Prayer for Law Enforcement

On Monday, September 14, Governor Jindal will host a public prayer rally on the steps of the Louisiana State Capitol at 11:30 a.m. to commemorate the statewide day of prayer for all law enforcement. Louisiana law enforcement officers, public officials and faith leaders will come together to honor the commitment and sacrifice of our officers and pray for the men and women who selflessly serve our communities every day. The public is welcome to attend.

Governor Jindal also encourages communities across the state to organize their own events and join him in prayer on this day.
