To assist with collating training information for
Louisiana first responders, GOHSEP has adopted an online
database, the Learning Management System (LMS).
The LMS provides a record of training courses which
individuals (users) have completed. First responders
may view and update individual LMS profile information.
First responders supply training completion information
directly to the
Emergency Management Institute (EMI) or
GOHSEP. The LMS will reflect only that course
completion data which first responders provide.
LMS Logon Instructions
1. Go to the
LMS
website.
2.
To
Logon:
Enter the initial of first name, full last name and the
last four digits of the Social Security Number (SSN) in
both the USERNAME and PASSWORD fields. (i.e., John
Smith: jsmith1234). Click on the Login button.
If you forget your password; click on the FORGOT
PASSWORD button underneath the login fields on the login
page. Enter your email address when prompted. The LMS
software will send your password to the email address on
record.
3. To Edit Profile Information:
Click on MY PROFILE under the HOME tab at the top of the
page. Click EDIT MY PROFILE in the left margin. Make
necessary changes in the appropriate fields. When
complete, click the UPDATE button at the bottom of the
page.
4. To Change Your Password: (the USERNAME cannot be
changed) users
may change the password at any time following the
initial logon procedure.
Click on MY PROFILE under the HOME tab at the top of the
page. Click CHANGE PASSWORD in the left margin. Enter
the current password in the OLD PASSWORD field. Enter
your new password in the NEW PASSWORD and CONFIRM
PASSWORD fields. When complete, click the UPDATE button
at the bottom of the page.
5. To View Training Courses:
Click on the COURSES tab at the top of the page. Under
the COURSES tab, choose ELECTIVE CATALOGUE. You will now
see a list of approved courses.

To View Course Transcripts:
The User may view his/her transcript of completed
courses.
Click on the TRANSCRIPTS tab at the top of the page. If
a certificate is available for viewing, you can access
it by clicking on the icon to the left of each course
name. To access additional pages (if available), click
on the appropriate page number at the bottom of the
page.
7. To Log Off:
Click on the LOG OFF link at the top right of the page.
