The State Hazard Mitigation Team met on 9 October 2003 and recommended that the firm of Aegis Innovative Solution, L.L.C., of Baton Rouge be contracted to develop the “Enhanced State Hazard Mitigation Plan” for the State of Louisiana.  The Military Department, in conjunction with the Office of Contractual Review, is in the process of finalizing the contract with the successful consultant in order to begin the development of the plan by 1 November 2003.
