FEMA Registration Information



DR 1685 - February 12-13 Severe Storms and Tornadoes

State and Federal officials encourage anyone affected by the disaster to register for assistance at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) . Those with speech or hearing impairments may call TTY 1-800-462-7585 .

When registering for help, be sure to have the following information available:

  • Your current phone number;
  • Your address at the time of the disaster and the address where you are now staying;
  • Your Social Security number, if available;
  • A general list of damages and losses you suffered;
  • If insured, the name of your company or agent and your policy number;
  • General financial information;
  • Bank account coding if you wish to speed up your assistance with direct deposit.

The hours of operation for registration will be 7 am till 7 pm, 7 days a week.

Applicants can also apply online at www.fema.gov or they can apply at the Disaster Recovery Centers.

St. Martin Parish
The DRC is at the St. Martin Parish Fire Training Center, 1035 Ruth Bridge Highway, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, 70517. Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until further notice.

Jefferson Parish
The DRC in Jefferson Parish remains open until further notice in Westwego at the Avenue D Gym, 1200 Avenue D, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
