Regional Directors

Each Region is represented by a Regional
Director selected from a Parish Emergency
Manager or Director, by the Parishes within
the particular Region. The Regional
Director provides a leadership role for the
Parishes within the Region. They serve as a
voice for the Region to raise issues at the
State level, providing recommendations to
the GOHSEP staff on issues that are
pertinent to the Parishes. The Directors
work closely with the Regional Coordinators
to determine overall strategy for the
Region. |

Regional Coordinators

Each Region is supported by a Regional
Coordinator who is a GOHSEP employee. The
Coordinators assist their regional Parishes
with training and resourcing, provide
technical expertise on Homeland Security
grants, assist in coordinating State and
Local activities within their Region and
provide direct support during disaster
activations.
