Interoperability Solutions Information
Organizations that provide interoperability solutions support and education:
- SEARCH (The National Consortium for Justice Information and Statistics) - primary objective has been to identify and help solve the information management problems of state and local justice agencies confronted with the need to exchange information with other local agencies, state agencies, agencies in other states, or with the federal government.
- The Motorola End User Toolkits are provided for the use of any agency that operates radios on LWIN. These Toolkits can be used to create tailored training presentations for end users that operate Motorola radios.
Communications Spectrum
Federal agencies that manage the commercial and public communications spectrum:
- Federal Communications Commission (FCC) - is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC's jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions.
- National Telecommunications and Information Association - A bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is the President's principal adviser on telecommunications and information policy issues, and in this role frequently works with other Executive Branch agencies to develop and present the Administration's position on these issues.

Project 25 - Project 25 is a set of standards produced by the joint effort of APCO, NTIA, and NASTD, and standardized under the TIA.
Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials International, Inc (APCO) - APCO International is the world's largest organization dedicated to public safety communications.
Capital Wireless Integrated Network (CapWIN) - is a partnership between the State of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the District of Columbia to develop an interoperable first responder data communication and information sharing network.
